How does the European Digital Education Hub facilitate your work?
The objective of the Hub is to collectively enhance competences and knowledge to improve educational practices. This is what brought a lecturer from Brazil working in Finland, to the European Digital Education Hub.
“Through the European Digital Education Hub, I can reach people that otherwise I wouldn’t be able to. I have support. I feel like I can count on people in the community, I can get their input for issues I might have, or an idea for a project. As a teacher, the Hub is my learning community!”
One policy-maker from Slovenia describes the Hub as a ‘unique and comprehensive ecosystem for the future of digital education’.
“Through the Hub, we have the possibility to cooperate in Europe, share our experience, and make new partnerships and alliances. At my daily work, the Hub supports me with contacts outside of my country and in different tasks – good practices in teacher training, open educational resources, strategies on digital education.”
For an instructional designer from Poland, the community of the European Digital Education Hub helps her to connect with like-minded, enthusiastic educators.
“The added value of the Hub is exactly this space – for cooperation, for sharing good practices, for meeting like-minded people. The European Digital Education Hub can open the room for creating something meaningful, space to inspire each other, to see how others tackle the same challenges in their local context. I find inspiration on the Hub that I can bring to my local context.”

The European Digital Education Hub launched on 23 June 2022. It has already achieved its first target, with more than 600 educators registered.
The first in-person community workshop took place in June 2022 at Tallinn University in Estonia. Workshop participants discussed the lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic with regard to digital education.
The pandemic underlined the importance of institutional support for learners and educators, innovative pedagogy, equal access to digital tools and technologies, and much more.
The online community is an inclusive and supportive space for collaboration, the exchange of best practices and the co-creation of innovative education solutions with stakeholders from all sectors.
Community members are encouraged to shape the development of the Hub by suggesting workshop topics and activities.
Join the Hub today to start collaborating on innovative solutions.
