The European Union is the world’s most popular destination and the second largest sending region for degree-seeking mobile students, according to the 2022 edition of Campus France’s 'Key Figures'.
The 2022 edition of Campus France’s ‘Key Figures’ report highlights the latest (2019) United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) figures on student mobility worldwide. The figures provide an overview of student mobility around the world before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brexit and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
More than 6 million students worldwide were studying in another country in 2019. China, India and Vietnam were the top 3 countries of origin of mobile students that year.
