Study visit on entrepreneurship education
The study visit is connected to the Community for Educational Innovation, an initiative of the Erasmus+ programme.
About the study visit
The aim of the study visit is to equip attendees with the tools, inspiration, and connections for impactful projects in the field of entrepreneurship education. The Barcelona innovation ecosystem will serve as a vibrant reference point, offering insight into how local actors and institutions support.
During the visit, participants will:
- generate a multi-stakeholder dialogue and analyse the development of entrepreneurial skills and mindsets in education.
- facilitate knowledge exchange about innovative approaches, good practices, success stories, and challenges related to entrepreneurial skills and mindsets in education.
- leverage the interaction between attendees to generate ideas and recommendations for enhancing entrepreneurial skills and mindsets in education.
Participants profile
Participation is open to all members of the Community for Educational Innovation and is limited to 15 available spots.
Applicants should:
- be directly engaged in activities such as teaching, research, policy development, or mentoring, among others, that promote the development of entrepreneurial skills and mindsets within educational contexts.
- be able to introduce an initiative or good practice from their institution (or their own work) that promotes entrepreneurial skills and mindsets in education.
Examples of participant profiles include:
- education leaders
- researchers
- business representatives
- policymakers
Availability to attend the entire study visit is mandatory.
Practical information
The session will take place on 18-19 June and hosted by the Centre for Funding and Innovation (CFI) at La Salle Campus Barcelona in Spain.
Participation is free of charge. Travel within Europe and accommodation expenses will be fully covered.
Registration deadline is 20 May 2025.
About the venue
The Centre for Funding and Innovation (CFI-Barcelona) is a flagship initiative at La Salle–URL, bridging academia, industry, and the innovation ecosystem. It boosts research excellence across disciplines through tailored training, foresight methodologies, and knowledge-sharing events.
The centre drives impact and facilitates co-creation among researchers and external stakeholders. Thus, the visit provides an opportunity for attendees to explore and discuss innovative practices and approaches that effectively nurture entrepreneurial skills and mindsets within educational settings.
About the organisers
This is the first study visit in 2025 organised by the Community for Educational Innovation, which brings together policymakers, practitioners, and members of the business sector to promote innovation in education at all levels.
The community and its activities are organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture in collaboration with the PPMI Group. It is an initiative of the Erasmus+ Programme.
