What is design thinking

Design thinking promotes and supports the learning of future-proof skills of the future through iterative steps:

  • Critical thinking
  • Creativity
  • Collaboration
  • Communication

About the workshops

The goal of the design thinking workshops is to create innovative ideas, educational frameworks, tools, methodologies, or solutions that support a new mindset to teaching and learning. It seeks to provide practical answers to challenges in the field of digitalisation through cross-sector networking and collaboration.

The 2-day design thinking workshops are hosted at the state-of-the-art facility of the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam, Germany. The workshop invites 40 participants from around Europe to co-create solutions on a given topic. The participants represent diverse backgrounds including:

  • policy
  • education technology (EdTech)
  • academia
