Hands-on artificial intelligence lab

In this one-hour interactive, hands-on lab, participants will explore together with the guest expert AI tools to ease education-related tasks such as

  • organisation
  • communication
  • lesson design & planning

The guest expert will share practical and accessible tips for three common AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.

After joining this hands-on lab, participants will be able to

  • better understand AI tools, its challenges and potentials
  • explain complex AI concepts
  • try out three AI tools to design lesson plans and manage administrative tasks

Meet Noé Malais, guest expert

Noé Malais is a passionate coder and artificial intelligence enthusiast. He has a master’s degree in mathematics applied to machine learning as well as in educational sciences. 

He interned at the Learning Planet Institute, Paris, in the Teachers-as-Researchers team and is now working in educational research for a European project and is an active member on the European Digital Education Hub.

The event is open to anyone active in the field of education who is curious about the various challenges in teaching and learning in digitally enhanced contexts.

  • any member of the European Digital Education Hub community

Practical information

The hands-on lab took place on 4 December 2024, 14.00 - 15.00 Central European Time (CET). 

There will be a second session for those who could not attend on 9 January 2025, 11.30 – 12.30, CET.

This event is only available to registered Hub members. Hub membership will be granted within 5 working days.

If you’re not yet a member of the Hub, make sure to register before 3 January 2025.

Only once you are a registered Hub member, you can register to the event.
