Sohaib: A master’s student from Pakistan in Estonia

“Studying abroad is much more than just going to a university, it is a life-changing experience. And there is no better place than Europe to do so.”

Country:

Efficient business culture and high startup rates

I pursued a master's degree in Economics, Business, and Administration in Estonia. My decision to study here was fueled by the country's reputation for having one of the highest startup rates in Europe and a business culture celebrated for its efficiency and digital aptitude. I aspired to immerse myself in this environment and experience it firsthand.

My European study experience in Estonia exceeded all expectations and has been absolutely enriching journey!

My decision to study [in Estonia] was fueled by the country's reputation for having one of the highest startup rates in Europe.

Calling Estonia my new home

From grappling with the Estonian language to collaborating with some of the best people and organisations, I underwent significant growth both professionally and personally.

Estonia, with its rich cultural tapestry, diversity, and abundant opportunities for growth, has become a place that feels like home to me.

Study in Europe: a life-changing experience

For me, some of the best thing about studying in Europe is its cultural richness and diversity. Also, the many opportunities for both professional and personal development that Europe provides.

Funding my studies and finding a job

Financing my studies initially relied on support from my parents for the first year. However, I swiftly secured a job a few weeks after arriving in Estonia, enabling me to independently finance the remaining semesters of my master's program.

My journey into internships and jobs in Europe unfolded seamlessly. A company reached out to me via TalTech's job and internship online portal, sparing me the need to actively apply. This ideal situation showcases the opportunities that can arise through university portals and connections.
