From AI to digital well-being: explore this year’s solutions

The finalists represent a wide range of innovative solutions that address key challenges in digital education developed by teams from across Europe and beyond.

This year, the shortlisted projects tackle the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) in education, data-driven teaching and learning, and digital well-being.

How DigiEduHack works

DigiEduHack is a series of 24-hour local grassroot hackathons that take place over 10 days in November. In 2025, over 80 events registered to organise hackathons across 31 countries.

Beginner and experienced teams come together to develop innovative solutions for 8 key digital education challenges, ranging from personalised learning and accessibility to artificial intelligence in education.

At the end of each hackathon, a panel of experts from the hosting organisation selects the local winner. Based on an assessment of DigiEduHack expert group, the top 12 local winning teams advance to the final round and get the chance to win one of the 4 Global Awards.

The 4 winning teams are chosen through public voting. By winning the Global Award, they receive support to implement their solutions and further their learning journey in tech and hacking.
