Towards a European Education Area

The Erasmus+ Teacher Academies initiative is a new action under the 2021-2027 Erasmus+ programme.

It will contribute to building the European Education Area by creating European partnerships of teacher education and training providers.

These partnerships will develop the European and international dimensions of teacher education in Europe.

Teachers, trainers and school leaders

Teachers are a cornerstone of the European Education Area. It is essential that they gain support for their career and competence development, as well as their well-being.

The Erasmus+ Teacher Academies is just one EU initiative supporting school staff.
