European Digital Education Hub: Education practitioners share their experiences of the open online collaborative community

Discover education practitioners’ experiences of the European Digital Education Hub.

How does the European Digital Education Hub facilitate your work?

The objective of the Hub is to collectively enhance competences and knowledge to improve educational practices. This is what brought a lecturer from Brazil working in Finland, to the European Digital Education Hub.

“Through the European Digital Education Hub, I can reach people that otherwise I wouldn’t be able to. I have support. I feel like I can count on people in the community, I can get their input for issues I might have, or an idea for a project. As a teacher, the Hub is my learning community!”

One policy-maker from Slovenia describes the Hub as a ‘unique and comprehensive ecosystem for the future of digital education’.

“Through the Hub, we have the possibility to cooperate in Europe, share our experience, and make new partnerships and alliances. At my daily work, the Hub supports me with contacts outside of my country and in different tasks – good practices in teacher training, open educational resources, strategies on digital education.”

For an instructional designer from Poland, the community of the European Digital Education Hub helps her to connect with like-minded, enthusiastic educators.

“The added value of the Hub is exactly this space – for cooperation, for sharing good practices, for meeting like-minded people. The European Digital Education Hub can open the room for creating something meaningful, space to inspire each other, to see how others tackle the same challenges in their local context. I find inspiration on the Hub that I can bring to my local context.”
