Mentorship and advice

During 2022-2024, the Digital Education Hub offered resources for guidance and mentorship to tackle challenges in digital education, including online clinics and a mentorship programme.

Online clinics

These were one-time meetings focused on problem-solving specific issues together with relevant guest experts.

Topics that received tailormade guidance included:

  • micro-credentials
  • hybrid, blended and online distance course design
  • international collaboration and virtual mobility
  • online assessment
  • diversity, inclusion and equity

Guidance through mentorship

The mentorship programme connected participants with high-level experts and consisted of 3 sessions over maximum 2 months.

It encouraged a collaborative approach which ensured that the mentorship sessions were not only personalised but also contextualised, thus maximising both individual and institutional benefits.

The mentorship programme covered topics like:

  • Hybrid, blended or online course and curriculum design
  • The development of micro-credentials and microlearning in continuing education
  • Institutional leadership for digital education
  • Digital collaborative teaching and learning
  • E-assessment, collaborative courses or curricula and digital mobility
  • Quality assurance and institutional policies/conditions for digital education
