Studying in France: an adventure I wanted to live

I’m a master’s degree student from Venezuela, currently pursuing studies in Economics, Business, and Administration at the IESEG School of Management, in France.

I chose France for 3 main reasons

• I wanted to learn and improve my French
• French higher education is world-renowned for its excellence
• I wanted to explore the culture, gastronomy and travel destinations.

It was an adventure I eagerly wanted to live.

I was welcomed at every moment.

Reflecting on the European study experience

My European study experience was completely amazing! I was welcomed at every moment. I had the opportunity to meet other international students and enjoyed a multicultural environment while studying in French and English. I also enjoyed travelling across France.

Finances, housing and internship

I was able to finance my studies through the Eiffel Scholarship, which also covered accommodation. I found my internship through my university, the IESEG School of Management.

Andrea’s advice to fellow students

My advice is to approach this experience with an open mind.

Be ready to connect with international people and adapt to the culture in which you are going to immerse.

And lastly, take full advantage of the education you will receive, as it will open many doors, both professionally and personally.
