The flagship event of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) will take place under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council.

About the summit

The summit is a flagship event of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Policymakers, educators, entrepreneurs, innovators, and representatives from the EIT community will join to discuss about key trends and future needs in entrepreneurial education, innovation-driven research and business acceleration.

The summit will showcase how innovators and entrepreneurs benefit from the EIT's unique pan-European ecosystem.

Awards ceremony and prize finalists

The Summit will feature two announcements:

  • The EIT Awards which promote innovation and encourage entrepreneurs by highlighting the most ground-breaking ventures and pioneering graduates from the EIT Community.
  • The finalists of the European Prize for Women Innovators, a joint initiative of EIT and the European Innovation Council

Networking opportunities

At several points during the Summit, participants will have the chance to meet the EIT Awards nominees, EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) and the wider EIT community.

By using the event app, participants will be able to book short networking meetings.
