About the guidelines on high-quality informatics
As part of the Digital Education Action Plan, the EU Council adopted a Recommendation to develop guidelines for teachers and educators on high-quality informatics. The guidelines will aim to generate a coherent understanding of informatics education and support teachers and educators with pedagogical expertise.
These guidelines would be used by the EU countries and education organisations on a voluntary basis. They will be practical, user-centric and actionable, a ready-made resource for all educators to understand how informatics can be integrated across the curriculum.
