Education for Climate Day 2024: “Climate Resilience - Preparing for the Future”

The 7 interactive sessions will happen in the following order:
- Curious about how education and training systems evolve across the EU? Get the latest insights from the 2024 Education and Training Monitor and discuss findings, policy implications and learning strategies.
- Do you feel alone in climate education? Connect with peers around solving challenges and collaborate on new solutions for the community and its actions during the Community Agora.
- Interested in policy & research around green education transformation? Review the COP29 together with policy officers, stakeholders, and educators to understand its impact.
- In need of refreshing inspiration for how to implement green education actions? Learn how global and local learning communities are pioneering sustainable education practices and make their environments resilient.
- Focused on green competence development? A showcase of concrete learning scenarios around the European Sustainability Competence Framework (GreenComp) is awaiting you.
- Want to learn about science-driven climate education initiatives? Discover selected community examples and their stories of what they do in practice.
- Eager to get to know youth recommendations on artificial intelligence (AI) and climate change? Join the Youth Climate Lab session to discover a learning scenario and practical recommendations.
This year’s Education for Climate Day will be available through live stream. You will be able to interact during the sessions using Slido.
