Acceleration of best practices: Innovating education through design thinking and the acceleration of prototypes

Find out more about how the community of the European Digital Education Hub develops new concepts, learning designs and practices through design thinking and co-design activities. The Hub is a space to accelerate, test and scale up selected prototypes – across all education sectors.

Design thinking for digital education

Unconventional methods often open new perspectives. Design Thinking is an innovative approach to collaborative and creative problem-solving. The European Digital Education Hub enables co-design processes across all education sectors.

The community of the Hub comes together to develop new ways of creating ideas and supporting a new mindset to teaching and learning. The Hub offers yearly design thinking workshops with stakeholders from different institutions across Europe.

Accelerating solutions for digital education

Designed to help the education sector take substantial steps in its digital development and transformation, the Accelerator has a forward-looking approach to solving problems of the future.

The programme invites prototypes from all education sectors and different European countries. The most innovative prototypes are selected to join and get the opportunity to be scaled and implemented in their target sector.

All prototypes benefit from intensive training and mentoring, testing in the field, and showcasing their results to a wider audience. Business and digital education experts will support one accelerator cohort per year.

Shaping the future of digital education today

By way of design thinking workshops and acceleration activities the community of the Digital Education Hub plays a crucial role in putting Europe’s digital education at the forefront of innovation.

Join the Hub today to start collaborating on innovative solutions.
