About the European Innovative Teaching Award

In 2021, the European Innovative Teaching Award was successfully launched as part of the European Education Area, aiming to recognise the work of teachers (and their schools) who make an exceptional contribution to the profession. Across the first two editions in 2021 and 2022, the European Commission awarded more than 200 outstanding Erasmus+ projects.

The Erasmus+ National Agencies are responsible for the selection of winning projects either through a direct selection of winners, short-listing potential winners, or publishing an open call. For more precise information on the selection process in your country, please visit the website of the respective National Agency.
