Kick-off Webinar: Community for Educational Innovation
An introduction to the community’s mission, key actions, and organisation.
The European Commission is setting up a community for educational innovation. It will bring together policymakers, practitioners, and business leaders to promote innovation in education at all levels.
This webinar will serve as an introductory session. It is open to the members of this new community and anyone interested in its activities and focus topics.
Community activity and focus topics
During 2025-2026, the community’s activities will focus on the following themes:
- From research to impact: bridging the innovation gap in higher education
- Entrepreneurial skills and mindsets in education
- Education for green and digital innovation
- Lifelong learning for an innovative workforce
- HEInnovate
Community’s members will have the opportunity to:
- Connect and network with like-minded individuals across Europe
- Participate in webinars, study visits, and other events focused on educational innovation
- Access and contribute to thematic papers and discussions
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in educational innovation
About the webinar
The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 19 March, 16.00-17.00 CET.
Webinar registrations run up until and including 19 March 2025.

The webinar is open to those interested in developing talent for innovation in secondary, higher and adult education, as well as adult upskilling and reskilling. This includes:
