Participants explores key policy developments, shared practices and experiences, and reinforced the Hub’s role as a platform connecting practitioner knowledge with European policymaking. Inputs and discussions also contributed to the the successful delivery and implementation of our key actions under the Education Package on the future of digital education and skills.

Marking the Hub’s fourth anniversary, the event connected leading digital education voices from across Europe, bringing together high-level policymakers, experts and stakeholders from across education sectors for a day of exchanges and networking.

Since its launch in 2022, the European Digital Education Hub has grown into a vibrant community of nearly 7 000 members committed to advancing digital learning across the EU.

Key highlights

 

EU-OECD AI Literacy Framework

Announcement of the final EU-OECD AI Literacy Framework for primary and secondary education, developed with the support of international contributions and expertise. The framework offers a common global approach to the competences young people need to navigate and actively participate in the age of AI.

Discussions on digital education such as:

  • digital sovereignty: European education technology (EdTech) and digital infrastructure
  • artificial intelligence (AI) in education
  • digital literacy
  • well-being in digital education

 

DigiEduHack Awards Ceremony

Showcasing the 2025 Global Winners and their solutions, developed during the sixth edition of Digital Education Hackathon (DigiEduHack).
