Mental health support for students in Europe

There is a lot of support available in Europe to help students experiencing personal and/or academic issues.

Student counselling

Besides the mental health care provided by professionals and local doctors, European higher education institutions typically offer many forms of mental health support to their students, for example student counselling.

We have created a list of just some universities across Europe and the counselling services they offer.

If you want to know more about the services available at a university you are enrolled in which is not featured in this list, please consult your mentor, student advisor or the international office of your host or home university (if applicable).

Other support for students

If you are struggling to get settled at your host university in Europe, then you can sign up for a student support programme, such as the Buddy System project

If you are dealing with feelings of loneliness and isolation, why not consider joining an international student organisation? This could help you to meet and connect with other international students.
