Bit&R is an educational platform for 8-12-year-old children that teaches programming through the creation and sharing of original games. The platform combines scientific pedagogy with gaming dynamics. It uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) models to determine each child's learning path and provides personalised feedback through its smart assistant.

Meet Diana Miron

Diana Miron is the CEO of Bit&R. She is a serial entrepreneur, front-end developer, a Draper University alumni, and has been featured on the Forbes "30 under 30" technology list for Europe. She has more than 5 years of experience in teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and web technologies to children.

What are the biggest challenges in digital education?

Traditional education systems often lack the tools to teach digital technologies and programming skills in a way that adapts to every child's needs. Due to time constraints and insufficient data, it’s challenging for teachers to customise content and curricula. This prevents them from making informed decisions about students' knowledge gaps.

How does your solution support the development of digital education?

Bit&R is the first coding education platform in Europe to incorporate AI models into its adaptive learning paths. It offers an affordable alternative for parents and educators, combining the fun and educational use of computers.

It provides a fully accessible, adaptive, and scalable educational platform that is available worldwide. This helps children learn web programming and digital skills at an early age. It prepares them for future jobs and nurtures both technical and cognitive abilities.

“Bit&R represents a significant advancement in digital education, offering a dynamic, personalised learning experience that equips students with essential 21st-century digital skills.”

Diana Miron, Bit&R CEO

How has the Accelerator programme supported you?

The Accelerator programme and the Hub have already been instrumental in our development, providing valuable knowledge and connections. These resources have helped us refine our product and expand our reach, particularly in English and German speaking EU countries.

What are the next steps for your team?

We plan to enhance our AI models further and expand our multilingual platform to reach a global audience. We are committed to creating an inclusive educational environment that supports both teachers and students in exploring and developing digital skills.
