Insights from the community workshop on wellbeing in digital education
The workshop took place in Stockholm, Sweden on 2-3 July 2024. It explored the pros and cons of digitalisation and the impact of technology on wellbeing in the education context.
A diverse group of stakeholders from the education and training sector, policy makers, EdTech companies and the private sector gathered in Stockholm for the latest community workshop on wellbeing in digital education organised by the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH).
Exploring digital wellbeing
The workshop aimed to
- foster a common understanding of what it means to be digitally well
- map the latest research and policy developments, such as the Council conclusions on supporting well-being in digital education, presented by the European Commission
- identify key challenges and opportunities in promoting wellbeing in digital education
Participants shared their experiences and best practices and discussed how to promote digital wellbeing across different educational landscapes.
